Dr. Deborah Jolly, Long-Term Colleague

I have known Dr. Marilyn Rice Korhonen for over 14 years, first through our connections at Texas A&M University and then with projects through her independent company. Over these dozen years, I have continued to interact with Marilyn professionally in some way that included: the writing of a large state document with numerous technical advisors and numerous inputs; the management of operations that seek external funding or corporate support; her management of various clients; and in her extensive work with PreK-20 entities of all sorts. In all of our work together she has proven to be a remarkable person and a joy to work with and very bright. She is truly a creative person. I rank her in the top five percent of professionals that I have come to know over the last 20 years. Marilyn has very strong communication skills and is able to work with all sorts of people and all sorts of Teams. She is able to take charge and lead a Team without being threatening. I would happily work with Marilyn any day, any time. I would welcome her to my Team.
